As a compliment to the opening of the Nike Kicks Lounge X in Xinyi A11, Nike Air Lab was a pop-up event. The event followed the theme of revolutionary creativity and sustainability of Nike Air for customers to participate in the transformation of trash. Participants are invited to use recycled TPU from previously collected shoe soles to create their own flake mix, which is then heat pressed and molded into bracelets specially designed for Nike Air 720 by MINIWIZ. This is an opportunity for everyone to experience circular design and sustainable innovation.
This event was also a preamble to miniTRASHPRESSO as the design process sparked the idea of using a modular system to decrease the size of the recycling line.
