NTU - ESG circular classroom

Project: NTU ESG classroom (Innovation Lab / Digital Sustainable Classroom)

Date: Jan 2022 - Feb, 2022

Collaboration:  Kindom Development Co., Ltd

Location: Taipei City, Taiwan. (National Taiwan University)

MINIWIZ partnered with Kindom Development Co., Ltd to create Taiwan's first ESG circular classroom.

The entire classroom uses locally recycled materials to reduce the carbon footprint caused by transportation.

Compared to traditional construction and materials, using upcycled modular building systems, the carbon reduction rate of this space upgrade reaches 22.9%, which is equivalent to saving 107 trees.

The overall space is not only bright and tidy, but it also has a self-cleaning system and is made up of materials recycled from industrial and consumer waste.

Features:

Using the same materials as the MAC ward modular system, coupled with recycled and upcycled sound-absorbing hemp fiber wall and ceiling panels rolled with anti-bacterial AG+ fibers.

Combining digital equipment to implement zero waste: The electronic touch screen replaces the traditional whiteboard and is supplemented with specially treated walls and tables which are easy to clean up.
