Arthur Huang addresses his stance on current and upcoming issues in the world of recycling, upcycling and virgin material production in an interview with Eco-Business.

 

"The Chinese have a book called the Tao Te Ching which says the only way you can change anybody is by understanding yourself. So the only way you can change anything is by understanding your desire to consume McDonald’s or buy Zara clothing. By understanding what drives desire, you can come up with solutions that are desirable and trick people into making better decisions." - Arthur Huang

 

Eco-business spoke with Arthur in Singapore where he has held a series of speeches to the students at the well-renowned Nanyang University in collaboration with National Geographic LIVE!, to try and get the circular economy mindset fresh in the memories of our world's future designers and engineers.
